Public administration – already available on mobile phone

Types of affairs operated on KEKKH’s electronic administration platform (Web Assistant Application) as well as document status querying service are already available on smartphones using the mobile application “OkmányApp”. The application allows us for example replacing our identity card and passport with unchanged data content; we can notify changes to ownership of the vehicles and even official certificate of good conduct can be applied for. The application can be expanded by further administration options displayed on the electronic platform. The application is already available on Google Play and AppStore.
 

We cannot imagine our daily life without applications anymore, because almost all operations, functions are supported by a mobile application. Being the innovator of the public sector KEKKH puts increased focus on development and modernization of the provided services. In the public sector the mobile applications are still something of a rarity.

A significant part of our public administration affairs can be arranged much easier by using “OkmányApp”, because it is an easy-to-use, user-friendly mobile application, and allows arranging affairs via Web Assistant Application and querying the status of the documents we applied for. The use of services based on Web Assistant Application significantly shortens the process, as everything can be arranged from home, for what we had to go to the post office or document office before. So besides time saving it will result significant cost saving as well. Currently, the following affairs can be arranged using the mobile application: to apply for official certificate of good conduct, to submit seller’s statement in case of the vehicle owner’s change, to withdraw the vehicle from the traffic, to re-register the vehicle into traffic and its extension as well. In addition, for replacement of the lost, stolen, destroyed ID card or passport with unchanged data content also can be applied through the application. To arrange most types of affairs customer gate (Ügyfélkapu) registration is required.

Development implemented with the support of the European Union will contribute to the achievement of the goal previously set out by Central Office for Administrative and Electronic Public Services to support document office administration by continuously expanding, remote access services in the future.
