Korm. határozatával döntött arról, hogy a Közigazgatási és Elektronikus Közszolgáltatások Központi Hivatala (KEKKH) jogutódlással 2016. december 31 - ével megszűnt. Ezúton szeretnénk felhívni a figyelmét arra, hogy jelen weblap archív honlapként működik, tartalma nem frissül. Kérjük, hogy az aktuális információért keresse fel az illetékes jogutódok által működtetett honlapokat (nyilvantarto.hu, web-lak.hu, kormanyhivatal.hu). Okmányügyeiket változatlanul, személyesen a kormányablakokban (Részletes információ: https://kormanyablak.hu/hu) és az okmányirodákban, interneten a „Webes Ügysegéd” segítségével intézhetik, valamint ügyintézéssel kapcsolatos általános tájékoztatással 0-24 órában a 1818-as telefonszámon elérhető Kormányzati Ügyfélvonal áll a rendelkezésükre.

From February the Official Certificate of Good Conduct can solely be arranged in person by appointment

From 1 February 2016 in the KEKKH Personal Customer Service Centre customers can submit their applications for issuing the Official Certificate of Good Conduct exclusively by a pre-booked appointment. The customers can book appointment over the phone, using 1818, the Government Customer Line, or in person at the information desk in the KEKKH Personal Customer Service Centre. In addition the application for an Official Certificate of Good Conduct can be submitted by mail as well as electronically via Web Assistant application. The Web Assistant application is available through the KEKKH website (www.kekkh.gov.hu) for customers having Customer Gate registration.


Official Certificate of Good Conduct

Based on data registered in Criminal Records the Criminal Records Authority issues the Official Certificate of Good Conduct for applicants upon request to establish or maintain a legal relationship as well as to certify conditions defined by the law. The Official Certificate of Good Conduct is issued exclusively on the basis of data registered in the Criminal Records Register, the certificate excludes data related to the Offence Register.

The Official Certificate of Good Conduct is a public document.
The application for the certificate may be submitted in Hungary

  • by mail (the application form is available at post offices)
  • in person orally in the KEKKH Customer Service Centre (1133 Budapest, Visegrádi utca 110–112.)
  • electronically for customers having Customer Gate login or registration through the Web Assistant application or the mobile application OkmányApp

Abroad the application can be submitted in person and exclusively via Hungarian diplomatic and consular representations.
The Official Certificate of Good Conduct may contain justifying facts whether the applicant

  • meets the necessary requirements/criteria stipulated by an act OR
  • has a clean criminal record AND/OR
  • is not subject to disqualification from public affairs AND/OR
  • in not subject to disqualification from profession or activity OR what kind of profession or activity he/she is disqualified from

Online checking of the Official Certificate of Good Conduct

The certificate verification service allows that customers can check online the validity time of their own Official Certificate of Good Conduct.

The customer requiring information shall provide the necessary data held in his/her own certificate. Thereafter the system will check the provided data based on data registered in Criminal Records and gives yes/ no answers depending on whether the check was successful or not. The successful check ensures that the certificate is valid as follows:

  • the Office issued the certificate indeed and
  • the validity period of the certificate has not expired yet and
  • the certificate has not been withdrawn yet.
