The Administrator and CIO of the Office of E-Government and IT, Steven L. VanRoekel invited Hungary to share professional experiences.
The experiences regarding e-government, e-public administration, document
and cardsystems and its IT system background were introduced to the experts
of the delegation from Central Office for Administrative and Electronic and
Public Services and the Ministry for Public Administration and Justice by
the White House's Chief Officer responsible for governmental IT strategy.

The IT strategy already launched in the United States corresponds in several
features with the Hungarian IT strategy in preliminary phase.
Representatives of both counterparts agreed that the aim is to introduce
service portfolio and service quality which is able to meet present and even
		  latent demands of the citizens.

The positive American experiences definitely confirmed that Hungary is on
the right way in launching the high level, mandatory governmental e-services
and further revolutionary value-added services in public administration.
