	Renewal of Periodical Technical Inspection (PTI)
		
			The technical eligibility validity of the vehicle is indicated by the validity  sticker placed on the number plate.
			Another set of sticker with the same serial number will be placed on the back of the  registration certificate and next to it the exact expiration date will be shown  as well. 
			
			
			Eligibility
			The holder  of the vehicle registration certificate can apply for the issuance of the  validity sticker.
			
			
			Where to apply
			
				- at the inspection stations during the periodical technical inspection of the vehicle (you can visit the website of the National Transport Authority to obtain more detailed information about the inspection stations) 
 
				- if the issuance of the validity sticker is associated with the change or replacement of the registration certificate the procedure can be applied in any Document Offices.
			
 
			
			
			Necessary documents
			The  following documents must be attached at the administration in the Document  Offices:
			
				- Technical Data Sheet issued by the National Transport Authority, verifying the vehicle's technical eligibility (the technical data sheet will be issued after the technical inspection of the vehicle in the inspection station)
 
				- the registration certificate of the vehicle
 
			
			The  following documents must be presented at the administration in Document  Offices: 
			
				- the rear number plate of the vehicle (the rear number plate of the vehicle must be removed and must be taken into the official premises of the Document Office. The validity sticker will be affixed by the official of the Document Office on the rear number plate.
 
			
			
			
			Costs
			
			  - the administration fee of the validity sticker is 585 HUF
 
			  - if a change or replacement of the registration certificate is also required the fee is 6000 HUF
 
			
			
			
			
			Procedure time
			According  to the general rule the procedure time for registering the holder's change is  30 days, but in case of a complete application the procedure can be  administered immediately in the Document Offices.  
			
			
			Useful information
			During the  administration the serial number of the sticker will be entered by the official  in the designated place on the back of the number plate and at the same time  with the issuance of the validity sticker the label will be sticked in the  registration certificate.
			If  the validity sticker is damaged or the rear number plate needs to be replaced the  sticker must be replaced as well. If the registration certificate has no more  places for the sticker the document must be changed.
