How to start up private entrepreneurial activities?

Notifications for the starting up of private entrepreneurial activities may be submitted electronically through the customer port of entry, or in person at any Document Service Centre in the country.

The Authority shall set up a customer port of entry free of charge for any client submitting the notification in person, who does not have a customer port of entry.

The notification shall be submitted using the prescribed standard electronic form (hereinafter referred to as "notification form").

The notification shall contain:

a)   the notifier’s surname and forename, surname and forename at birth, mother’s surname and forename, date and place of birth, home address, contact address, nationality;  
b)  a statement verifying that the disqualifying factors under Section 3 of this Act do not apply;
c)  the main activity, and any other activity (activities) planned to be performed, shown according to the Nomenclature for Codes of Professions created from TEÁOR numbers according to Regulation(EC) No. 1893/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing the statistical classification of economic activities NACE Revision 2;,
d)  the address for the registered office,  and for the business establishment(s), and    branch(es)  where necessary;
e)  other data, information and statement prescribed by Act XCII of 2003 on the Rules of Taxation (hereinafter referred to as "RTA") which may be necessary for meeting the obligation to register with the state tax authority. (for further information please visit the website www.apeh.hu).
